Exciting news from the tech team this afternoon - the next development at Gemsta.com marches ever closer to completion! The team are planning on getting an update to the test platform today of SAVE having pretty much sorted the back-end infrastructure and working hard to complete the front-end.
SAVE is where you will be able to store and organise all the information you find and want to keep whilst surfing the web wave - web pages, images, videos, shopping and text. In order to save anything and then review it you will need to become a registered user (a quick and painless process I promise!!), why not register now and you will automatically be the first to know when SAVE goes live.
So testing next week and we should be ready to go live after that! Check back here for more updates.

Get happy - create your own!
FIND Wizard is here! So I hope our registered users are having fun creating their own shopping and search zones as I type...!
More sites will be added all the time, social networking sites are the next to arrive so you will be able to add Twitter and Facebook to your customised zones very soon.
Plus loads more background images and funky frames - any suggestions of what you would like to see are most welcome.

Lights On, Lights Off?
Hello from me!
I'm Clare, the marketing and communications part of Team Gemsta. I look after all things communicative as well as the affiliate networks and brands - working out which brands to put in which zone. Meaning I frequently have the unpleasant (!) and arduous (!!) task of looking at shopping sites........
This week is quite special in the world of Gemsta as we have a new homepage which embraces our new structure FIND, SAVE & SHARE; part of which allows our registered users to create their own shopping and search zones - fantastic tool! I am looking forward to creating several zones using the pink frame (of course!) and filling them with my favourite online shops! It's quite interesting seeing the custom zones of other members of the team....a little window into their personality!
There's another new feature on the site which you may not notice at first, but it has caused much mirth in the office - Lights On, Lights Off...can't think why?! I'm definitely Lights On, but that's just me!

Introductions
Hello there! I'm Jonathan, MD @ Gemsta, I look after most things connected to the project from the finances to the front-end at times! Like James, I have also been involved with this site for a while now and I'm really excited that we are finally nearing a position where we can launch our new features to you all!
The development team have all hands on deck in preparation for the rollout of the new look site, anticipated to be live by the end of this week so look out for a post letting you know exactly what's new.
Myself and the rest of the team aim to keep this blog up to date with any developments so do check back from time to time to see what's new, not just site wise but all things Gemsta!

Hey!
Hi everybody, its James here. I'm the technical director of Gemsta and have been on this project since its conception a long, long time ago!!
This is my first post up here on this blog, so if its a rant forgive me!! I'll get in to the swing of things soon!!
So whats going on over at Gemsta? Well, we've had our backs against the wall working on a completely new site layout, which will be ready to roll by the end of this week. Look forward to some completely new features, a navigation change, and some special treats for all you registered users!
For those of you who are die hard users, firstly thanks for the commitment! Secondly, I am sure you will of all seen the new vouchers system(http://vouchers.gemsta.com/), and our new shopping comparison engine(http://shopping.gemsta.com/).
For those techs out there were using API's for both, with an aggregator under the header of Gemsta, aggregating the product feeds from Amazon, Ebay, and Kelkoo.
Technophobes- all you need to know is its good, and if you can't find a product or voucher through our systems- it can't be found!!!
For all of you waiting out for whats next from us? Well you'll have to wait a bit longer!! As they say patience is a virtue, and good things come to those who wait! So sit tight, and enjoy the ride!!
